Harry Kane scored twice on his 125th England cap to secure a 3-0 win over Czechia at Wembley on Tuesday night. The victory keeps England firmly on course for qualification to the Nations League Finals next year.

Kane moved level with Peter Shilton as the men's senior team's most-capped player. He marked the occasion with his 90th and 91st international goals, extending his scoring streak to seven consecutive matches for club and country.

England took the lead in the 27th minute through a Vladimír Coufal own goal. Kane doubled the advantage five minutes before half-time, finishing from close range after a pass from Morgan Rogers. His second, a powerful header from a Lewis Hall corner, arrived twelve minutes into the second half.

Thomas Tuchel's side dominated possession and created the clearer chances throughout. Trent Alexander-Arnold, returning to the team, forced an early save from Lukáš Horníček. The win extends England's current run to three consecutive victories, having thrashed Croatia 7-0 just three days earlier.

"Harry Kane will move level with Peter Shilton as the England men’s senior team’s most-capped player," Kane said after the match.

Tuchel made several changes in the second half, handing minutes to Jarrad Branthwaite and Rio Ngumoha. Kane was substituted to a standing ovation with eight minutes remaining. The team's next challenge is a home fixture against Croatia on 12 November.
