England's Jarell Quansah limped off with an ankle injury in the 2-0 World Cup win over Panama. Thomas Tuchel has issued an update on the fitness of his right-back.
What happened?
The Bayer Leverkusen defender rolled his ankle in the second half and was replaced. Tuchel admits he's concerned but clarified the issue is not muscular.
Injury update
The German said: "A classic ankle twist and he is in pain." Quansah has his leg up high and in ice. He walked freely as he left the MetLife to board the England team bus.
Impact on the team
Djed Spence is currently England's first-choice right-back, having featured in each of their three games. Trevoh Chalobah and Ezri Konsa can also play at right-back if required. Reece James' tournament is not necessarily over yet, as he works on his recovery in Kansas City.
